他披露，去年前往新加坡觀光的旅客總人數為974萬名，其中的63萬名為大馬旅客，排在旅客總人數的第6位。他說，他們這次也請來Phua Chu Kang（葛米星飾演），為“新加坡半價驚喜”展開一連串的宣傳活動。
另一方面，新加坡旅遊局北馬及東馬區域主任郭詩燕表示，“新加坡半價驚喜”將從5月25日開始進行至6月30日，以配合大馬的學校假期。她指出，大馬旅客若以馬幣付款，只需按照有關景點的票價以馬幣付款即可；他們也可選擇以新幣付款，但只須支付一半的票價。
她表示，大馬旅客只需在觀光景點的售票處出示護照及出入境卡，就能享有上述優惠。她說，在促銷期間，乘搭新航及勝安航空班機的大馬旅客，也將獲得優惠票價。
她補充，新加坡著名的觀光景點包括動物園、裕廊飛禽公園及聖淘沙等。

今天...
今天是公共假期，放假好像很爽...... 今天应该是元首登基的日子所以宣布特别公共假期吧...马来西亚就是特别多假期，好像搞到自己很先进这样，每天可以不用做。人们不工作又拿来发展呢？尤其是这几个礼拜，尤其多假期...
虽然今天是公共假期，可是今晚我还有课要上。是其中一科的期中考检讨会，应该是讨论题目应该如何作答以应付即将来临的大考。虽然 attendance is not compulsory，可是既然有这么好又dedicated的讲师，放假都肯教，那么就一定要去咯...
今天放假嘛，可是明天有一个assignment要交，所以昨天晚上做通宵来完成这份assignment，今天早上7点多才睡。虽然这样对身体不好，虽然我还有今天来完成它，可是我就是这样，一开始了就希望完成它。既然昨晚我鼓起一团火来开始做，就要完成它，不然等今天我就不知道要等到什么时候我才会动手了。还有就是当你完成的成就感，你会觉得很爽。其实它是group assignment，2个人一组。我的groupmate在星期一就把它的资料send给我，我就重新整理及编排。再加上这个题目真得很难找资料，还要做至少30页！天啊~~~其实昨晚最辛苦时整晚在下雨，应该很好睡的。
在接下来就是最后一个assignment和lab report了。我决定今晚就开始，那就应该不用做天亮了，虽然是下个星期四交。希望我今晚可以拥有那一股勇气让我开始行动吧！

If you are Msia's 80s baby,read through this, we grew up watching Transformers,Thundercats, Woody Woodpecker,Chipmunks, Mickey Mouse, Jem, Mask,Ninja Turtles, Voltron, Baja Hitam,Ultraman n not forgettin POWER RANGERS n BUGS BUNNY!!!and anderra yippa mice?:), McGyver ? -> I like Power Rangers the most... haha...
had to brush our teeths during recess at primary school? had to hold plastic cups, line up with your classmates side by side and start brushing our teeth at some open area... or maybe near some drain??-> This refresh my memory on primary skul... ask us to bring cup and toothbrush to skul...
do you still remember that we had 'dentist' rooms where we had to have our teeths check? -> always need to be checked...
not to forget our 'program minum susu' in primary school.. everybody is suppose to buy like cartons of milk that costed 30 cents.. and you would see everyone drinking it everyday...its d UHTmilk... -> This one not so remember d... or it did not implement in my skul? I just remember some students will buy milk and drink...
the teachers who would want to punish us must use yellow rulers to hit us on our palms?? 1 metre length.. -> not only ruler... rotan also kena... i remember standard 2 the teacher use broom...
that a bowl of mihun soup or some soup only costed 50 cents at the school canteen... -> wan tan mee also 50 cents only... now... haiz... expensive...
went to some sundry shop near the school or to the 'roti' man waiting outside our schools so that we can buy junk food like chickedees, mamee, ding dang with some toys in it, 'Ti Kam', ice-cream and -> always buy this after skul...
we would play games like monopoly, uno, old maid, and all other card games like that... -> This one seldom la... coz cannot bring to skul... I am good student abide by the rules... haha...
another fun time would be during Pendidikan Jasmani. the boys would play football while the girls would play netball... and it would be like we were playing in the world cup... -> My previous skul is boys skul... no girls except Form 6... so no netball available.. haha... but when PJ class we are splitted into 3 gangs... 1 play football, 1 play basketball, another gang play jogging (walk around nothing to do, or just sitting there)... I am the one play basketball... but y I wont grew tall a bit now?
but of course. the best would be main guli, bottlecaps, ice-cream sticks, 'Pepsi Colaone-two-three', Cops and Robbers, main kejar-kejar duduk,getah... and for the not so active, those kind of 'bookgames' where we would use buku latihan to draw and ask our friends to play... -> this one most of them play during primary skul... especially skul holiday... really extremely fun... with all neighbour kids...
do you remember the ice-cream tubes which are actually ice and colouring that are sold for 10 to 20 cents.. the colourful ones.. where you usually bite off the top to glup it down.orange tastes b best..(pop-ice) -> I like buying this... haha... only 10 cents when primary school, it's available in the grocery shop few house next to my house during primary skul... I keep on buying after skul... now only know that it's not that healthy... will it be too late?
what about days when we felt like doing naughty things such as folding papers so small to make 'lastik' amd shoot each other... how about throwing chalks?? -> not only these 2 things... we "train" a fren in secondary skul... now think back I am too naughty...
back then, michael jackson was just turning white.. and still had albums coming out.. compared to CD's, we were listening to tapes that sold for RM9.90... -> yeah... that time MJ very hit... and his songs also... nowadays I saw tapes are sold for RM 3.50 each... original...
in computer class, we were still using black and white computer moniters..played 'Atari'... maybe SEGA or NINTENDO.. -> That time play games using MS-DOS in computer... My dad buy computer while I am Form 1... nowadays the kids already know on9 since Standard 1...
well, are we all getting older or what?

3) we shake our heads everytime we see high school students fussing about their handphones in school.. ->I think this is correct...
4) we don't hang on phone with our friends for hours a day talking about nothing... -> Definitely not doing this now...
5) when we meet back with our friends from time to time, we feel excited and happy talking about old times, the funny 'adventures' or stories that we experienced as a kid.. -> I really do this everytime I meet them... non-stop... non-stop talking... non-stop laughing...
6) last but not least, that when you read this, you would think of all the happy & sad memories that you have experienced when you were still a kid and would think of forwarding this to your old friends that you have known since forever... i'm sure they would have a huge smile on their face after reading this..... ->Ya... all those happy and sad memories suddenly come to my mind... I wont forget this...

考试的三星期
还有三个星期就要面临考试了。在马六甲读书4年了，应该已经习惯这种生活了，反正每个学期不断的重复着。现在这个时候都是一大堆assignment冲着来。这个sem我只是拿4科，所以只有4个assignment...可是当你越读越深的时候，assignment也就越来越不容易了。以前的assignment只是回答一些问题而已，现在的就必须上网，去图书馆搜集资料，再把这些资料整理，筛选，然后出一份报告，有时还要准备presentation...想到都显了......有2个assignment已经交了，现在就还有剩下2个让我拼搏了......每个星期都在赶assignment，虽然是我一开始不要做而已，实在是很显...过后就是考试周了，希望快点过了假期就来了。好想去玩哦！！

KL PC Fair
上个星期的周末到了赛城（cyberjaya）一游。事情是这样的，因为星期一是马六甲的公共假期，所以就有一连三天的公假了。记得星期五接近半夜12点，我的朋友来找我，一时兴起就决定去cyber了。结果就立刻出发，半夜2点多才到。其实这次的目的是要去KLCC Convention Center的KL PC Fair。而这次到Cyber也只是到了这个地方而已。真得非常感谢这两位赛城的朋友收留我们两晚，打扰了~~ 这是我第一次去kl pc fair。东西不是说很便宜，可是地方就真的是很大，走到脚都软了。我们大约走了3小时，其实还没有看完的，许多档口都漏掉了。结果最后只是买了一个card reader 和一叠dvd-r。可是至少也可以说是增广见闻了，哈哈！

Lost World of Tambun
或许你会对这个名字感到很陌生，其实它是位于怡保，属于双威（Sunway）集团的一间水上乐园，应该可以说刚刚开了不久。我就在短期内去了两次，真的想不到......哈哈！第一次是06年12月26日，公共假期，和家人去的。严重、严重多人，严重不爽~~第二次是今年年初六，和几位朋友一起去，记得那天也是前一天才决定的。那边的地方不算很大，刚刚开始应该这样子的了，也不能奢望太多，唯有希望它继续蓬勃发展了。其实和一班朋友一起进去玩真的是很爽的。当你在里面大笑的时候，当你在里面高谈阔论的时候，当你在里面泡着温泉一起享受的时候，当大家一起在漆黑的滑道里面冲下来的时候，都是很爽的时候。当然我是很享受这个时刻啦~~ 以下奉送一些照片：

当我受伤时......
之前的post用英文写了，因为当时真的难忍心中的怒火，所以为求速度以发泄，就用英文草草写完，当中一些字眼不是太晓得，就用中文代替咯，因为我英文真得很烂一下......昨天一位朋友说我的英文很差，所以今天就用中文写了......
那天车祸的伤势现在还很痛。我买了一些消毒药水和绷带包扎了。现在左脚不能下柜，因为膝盖不能碰倒地上，会很痛。脚趾也是很痛，尤其在碰到水的时候。左边肩膀更麻烦，痛是不用说的啦，换衣服真得很辛苦。其实当我坐下来没事做，就不会怎样感觉到痛楚。当开始活动起来的时候就辛苦了。
受伤的时候真得很希望得到朋友、家人的问候，不知为什么我涌起了这个念头。人在受伤或生病的时候应该是最脆弱的。就算是简简单单的一句：“你觉得怎样了?”都会觉得很窝心。可是另一方面我又不想太多人知道这件事，我也不会刻意去告诉人家这件事。我觉得自己真得很矛盾。人家不知道也不会无端端过来问候你，除非你得罪人了，那人家就会过来问候你甚至你的家人。我受伤了，我觉得原来我是很孤独的。应该不是觉得，是更肯定原来我是很孤独的......

Worst day of my life...
2day i really bad la... so bad... so bad... so bad... this afternoon i wake up...coz sunday ma... i sleep till very late... then whole day my house network dunno y only can connect a while... then most of the time it cant be connected... cannot surf net... cannot find those information i need for my assignment... then MMU FET server dunno y down again... i cant post my blog for my subject Engineer and Society assignment... not only the blog... the industrial training program 2007 website also down... yday is the last day to submit our online C.V. for our industrial training in oct later... luckily i have finished fill up all details... I think is Dr Lim purposely let the server down so that we cant do last minute job... who only plan to do last minute cannot do... coz that day briefing he stressed few times as we have to do it earlier... they will not be responsible if u do it on the last day and the server is down... haha...
and the worst part is... just now i drive motor out... then i drive on a 2 lane road... in front there is a motor with 2 passengers... they using the left lane... i wanna overtake it so i move out a bit on right lo... when i nearly reach he suddenly turn right to my side... without any signal... 顶！！I crashed on the motor and 整辆motor 翻向左边！整辆motor压在我的左脚小腿上！luckily the motor is not very heavy and i manage to get out myself... and luckily i only 擦伤 on my knee, my shoulder and my toes... and luckily i wear my helmet tightly... but my motor is kesian... still can functioning... but front light gone... and signal light wont 闪... and my plate number one side the screw is lost... but still can hold on that place la... 2moro i need to go service my motor... 顶！不会驾motor不要学人出来，去吃粪啦！这么多人死不见你死，出来世界累人累物！收皮啦你！！！i am so sorry maybe here not so gentle... coz i am really so angry now...

1月沙巴亚庇之旅
一月中的事情了，为什么现在才写呢？因为我刚刚才拿到这些照片，所以打算有照片时才叙述一下。亚庇就是Kota Kinabalu。这是我生平第二次坐飞机，是airasia的廉价飞机，6天的旅程。很感谢这位亚庇的朋友--aleng的热情款待。我们共有6个人。当天我一个人凌晨坐巴士从怡保到LCCT。我也不详细讲每天的行程了，因为我只记得重要的point。第二天我们到市中心叫Gaya Street的地方，是一个露天市集，大部分售卖的都是纪念品。它只是在星期天早上营业。 傍晚就到海边看日落，那个地方应该叫Tanjung Aru。第三天我们就上了Mount Kinabalu的山腰了。只是车程就占了接近2小时。我们先去一个温泉，温泉再往里面走是树林，叫着canopy walk。其实是走一下山路，爬到比较高的地方走一下它的吊桥，再走回下来。然后就回去温泉地带浸脚而已。过后就到Mount Kinabalu的山腰的一个树林里面，叫Kinabalu Park。其实虽然是树林，可是它里面有人行道给我们走的。里面的确有许多比较稀奇的品种的植物。过后就坐2小时车打道回府了。第五天我们就到了一个很偏僻的村落，车程也大约是2小时，就像我从怡保驾车到吉隆坡一样。这次我们“醒”了，我们把扑克牌带上车（我们都是坐van车的）玩锄大D，消磨时间。我们去看一种比较稀奇的猴子叫Prosbosis Monkey。他们的鼻子都是长长的。这是一个比较难忘的经验。我们真的是“游船河”，坐在一艘快艇在河流上奔驰。猴子不是在笼子里面任你看的，看不看到得看你的运气。我们就坐在船上面，两旁都是树和草。大约傍晚的时候就是猴子群出动的时候了。我们都得用望远镜才看得到清楚的。晚餐也在当地使用。过后，天暗了（亚庇大约7点天就全黑了），我们在上船，在同一条河流上前进，目的是看萤火虫。坐在船上面真得没有安全感，因为你是看不到河流前面是什么的，真的是四周围漆黑一片，全靠掌托人的经验操控。直到前面出现萤火虫，他们都是围绕着树的，所以看起来就好像圣诞树，一直在闪闪发亮，很美丽的景色。当你抬头看着天上，你会发现有很多很多很多很多的星星。比平常看到的多很多，可能是天空比较辽阔，没有城市那么多阻碍物。第六天我们参观沙巴博物馆。这比我想象中精彩，它的占地很大，他们真得把不同族群的长屋一间一间建起来，我们还可以进去里面参观，甚至还有华人的传统房屋。一面还有不同的展览厅，我觉得非常好看，只是还欠缺一点点东西，因为我始终觉得我曾经到过新加坡和香港的博物馆比较生动和更加多互动。外国的装修和设计也比较美。当天下午我们就坐飞机回来西马了。

年初二~~~
昨天刚刚考完一张试卷，今天总算可以腾出一些时间来写一写。其实，我有很多东西想写，可是一直都是“想”而已。现在总算付诸行动了。
首先想说的事，就得回到年初二那天了。今天我真得很开心，因为我们举行了一个“大食会”，地点就在我的家。今天很好，总共有16个人出席，是近年来难得一见的高出席率。虽然我们吃的只是打包回来得KFC（因为新年的东西都贵嘛，又懒得煮），可是我希望享受那个共聚的时光。有几位很久不见的朋友也来了。实在是太高兴了。我还没有回去怡保之前已经迫不及待这天的到来了。大家谈天叙旧，我真得很喜欢这样的时光。你可以和我谈上一晚，我也没有问题。毕竟讲话是我很喜欢的活动。哈哈！美中不足的是我的家太小了，容纳不了太多人。本来打算那天大家可以至少谈天到凌晨啦。哪里知道大约1、2点的时候大家又兴致勃勃出去外面“打机”，结果当天4点凌晨才回家，还得收拾行李隔天到外婆家。虽然有点累，可是我很享受这分累。我不介意一直有机会这样累下去。新的一年大家又大一岁，大家认识又多一年。虽然现在大家有自己的生活圈子，有自己的朋友，也有女朋友了。可是，我衷心希望大家以后可以一直保持联络，大家心里还藏着那份友情。朋友不需要每天相见，只在有需要时挺身而出，伸出援手。一切在心中。
